About Us

Managed by an ex Veterinary Nurse, we provide doggy daycare, cat and small pet boarding in the beautiful Eden Valley halfway between Carlisle & Penrith.

With spacious, comfortable rooms we aim to provide a home from home environment for your beloved pet.

During their stay, your pets will be cared for by Rachael, owner of Doggies n Moggies Retreat and previously a Registered Veterinary Nurse in Carlisle with over 15 years experience working with animals.

We also have volunteers Wendy and Bex who help out occasionally, Wendy has previous experience working in a cattery, and cat rescue centre.  Bex is a registered veterinary nurse working in practice.
